I have just received the schedule of speakers for the memorial at Beyond Baroque for Fred Dewey, who as President of the Board of Trustees and Beyond Baroquoe’s Artistic Director revitalized its original impetus as a publisher of avant-garde writing. I have already composed what I am going to say, and am looking forward to this celebration of a unusual man at an unusual institution.
