Cultural Daily has published the poems of several graduates of the MFA program I teach in at California State University, Long Beach, and today’s featured poet is one of my favorites: David Garyan. After earning not only a MFA, but a MA degree at CSULB, he moved to Italy, where he has earned another MA agree. All the while, he has been writing poems that make him one of the most prominent of the youngest contingent of post-Beat poets now at work.
For the record, the other CSULB poets to be published in Cultural Daily are Tony W. Wallin, Jacaline Intravaia, and Hannah Schultz.
