HOMEMADE DOUGHNUT ADVICE

(found poem)

 

The trick is making a dough

nut that is light and airy

but still firm enough so it

won’t collapse in cooling off —

both delicate and structured.

 

 

 

EARLOBES

 

Shifting a cup of coffee

to the other hand, she fingersnaps

where the woman opposite

wished her hair’d been cut
