Harry Northup has been hosting and producing a poetry reading series out of the production studios at the Motion Picture Television Fund for several years, and his guests have included James Moore, Sarah Maclay, Pam Ward, Phoebe MacAdams, Jim Cushing, Jeanette Clough, Edmund Berrigan, Jamie O’Halloran, Mark Edward Rhodes, Lois P. Jones, James Ragan, Alicia Portnoy, Adele Slaughter, Sandra McPherson, Beth Ruscio, Carine Total, and Edwin Torres.
In February, I had the good fortune to be joined with Bart Edelman in a reading that was recorded and then uploaded. Thank you again, Harry, for giving me a chance to share a piece that was written almost 40 years ago, but which I have not often read in public.
