When Jose Rico and Jorge Humberto Chavez invited me to read in Mexico City and San Luis Potosi, respectively, this past August, I was invited during the weeks leading up to my trip to join a poetry panel in Cuernavaca during a literary festival. After the Cuernavaca panel, Mariela Castañeda asked if I would be willing to be interviewed for a magazine published under the auspices of the University of Mexico.
